Section 1 – Scope and Platform Purpose
(1) These Terms of Use govern the use of the Hello Roaster platform (hello-roaster.com), operated by Kaffee-Automat GbR (hereinafter referred to as the “Platform Operator”).
(2) Hello Roaster is a matchmaking platform connecting coffee roasteries with available roasting capacity (“Providers”) and businesses seeking roasting services (“Seekers”).
(3) The platform is intended exclusively for entrepreneurs within the meaning of Section 14 of the German Civil Code (BGB). Consumers within the meaning of Section 13 BGB are excluded from use.
(4) By registering, the user confirms that they are acting in an entrepreneurial capacity.
Section 2 – Role of the Platform Operator as Intermediary
(1) The Platform Operator acts exclusively as a technical intermediary. It provides the infrastructure through which Providers and Seekers can connect.
(2) The Platform Operator does not at any point become a party to agreements concluded between Providers and Seekers. Contracts for roasting services, deliveries, or other services are concluded exclusively between the respective users.
(3) The Platform Operator does not guarantee the quality, reliability, availability, or legality of offerings posted by Providers or inquiries submitted by Seekers.
(4) The selection of a contracting partner, the negotiation of terms, and the execution of roasting orders are solely the responsibility of the users involved.
Section 3 – Registration and User Account
(1) Use of the platform requires registration. Truthful and complete information must be provided during registration, in particular: company name, contact person, business address, and email address.
(2) Each user may create only one account. Login credentials must be kept confidential.
(3) Users are obliged to update their data in their profile without delay if changes occur.
(4) The Platform Operator reserves the right to reject registrations without stating reasons.
Section 4 – User Obligations
(1) Providers must only list capacities that they can actually deliver. Information on capacities, prices, and scope of services must be accurate.
(2) Seekers must describe their roasting requirements completely and correctly.
(3) Use of the platform for unlawful purposes, spam, misleading information, or infringement of third-party rights is prohibited.
(4) Users are solely responsible for all content they post on the platform.
Section 5 – Payment Processing
(1) Payment processing for orders facilitated through the platform is handled via the payment service provider Stripe. The Platform Operator charges a facilitation fee, the amount of which is transparently displayed during the booking process.
(2) By using the payment function, the user accepts the terms of use of Stripe (https://stripe.com/legal).
(3) The Platform Operator is not liable for disruptions, delays, or failures of the payment service provider.
Section 6 – Costs
(1) Registration and profile creation on the platform is free of charge.
(2) A facilitation fee may apply for brokered orders. The amount of the fee is displayed to the user before completing a booking.
(3) The Platform Operator reserves the right to introduce additional paid features or fee models in the future. Changes will be announced to users at least 30 days in advance. Users have a special right of termination in such cases.
Section 7 – Liability
(1) The Platform Operator is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health.
(2) For slight negligence, the Platform Operator is liable only in the event of a breach of material contractual obligations (cardinal obligations). In such cases, liability is limited to foreseeable, contract-typical damage.
(3) The Platform Operator is not liable for the content, offerings, or conduct of users among themselves. In particular, it is not liable for the fulfilment or quality of roasting orders agreed between users.
(4) No guarantee is given for the continuous availability of the platform.
Section 8 – Term and Termination
(1) The user relationship is concluded for an indefinite period and may be terminated by either party at any time without stating reasons.
(2) Termination is effected by deleting the user account or by written notice to info@kaffee-automat.io.
(3) The Platform Operator is entitled to suspend or delete user accounts in the event of violations of these Terms of Use.
Section 9 – Amendments to the Terms of Use
(1) The Platform Operator reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use with reasonable advance notice. Amendments will be communicated to registered users by email.
(2) If a user does not object to the amended terms within 30 days of receipt of the amendment notice, the new terms are deemed accepted. The Platform Operator will draw attention to the significance of the deadline in the amendment notice.

Section 11 – Final Provisions
(1) The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply.
(2) Place of performance and jurisdiction is Cologne, provided the user is a registered trader, legal entity under public law, or a special fund under public law.
(3) Should individual provisions of these Terms of Use be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
